Rudbeckia fulgida ‘Goldsturm’ 

Common Name: Black-eyed Susan 

Flowers: Bright, golden yellow petals surround a velvety browm center.  Blooms from spring until frost. 

Exposure: Full sun to light shade. Moist, well-drained soil. 

Water:  Infrequent irrigation may be needed in summer. 

Uses: Container, specimen, borders, bedding, and butterfly gardens.  If not deadheaded, flowers produce seeds that feed many different birds. 

Note: Perennial Plant of the Year 1999.
